Beverly Jean (B.J.) Warner, 74 of Litchfield & Torrington Health and Rehabilitation was reunited with her husband in heaven on the 28 day of April 2014 after 23 years of being apart. From Stomach Cancer. She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on 2/6/40. Daughter of the Late John and Mae Tobin. She was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Eugene (Gene) O. Warner Sr. (1991). BJ had a son Larry, when she met the love of her life, Gene in 1968. Not only did she get the love of her life she also acquired 7 more children ages 2-18. (Eugene Jr, Daniel, Mike, Bill, Chrisanne, Peg & Steven). Gene & Bev went on to have 2 more children together, Jeannie (Dings) and Robert. (Yup that’s 10). She made her home in Litchfield for over 40 years. She was a homemaker. She loved to socialize, gossip, QVC and was quick with her tongue. She was famous for her peanut butter fudge and red velvet cake. Holidays were always made very special. She spent many, many month’s sun bathing at her home in St. Cloud Florida. She loved her “human” dogs (more than people). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hannah Warner, Arielle & Devon Oemcke, and Lexie Dings. She was predeceased by son Daniel (2013). She leaves a brother Jack John Tobin of Florida and special nieces. Per Bev’s request there will be no service or calling hours. A special thank you to Francis, Alycia, Sierra and Jada for their love, care and support. And to Torrington Health and Rehab for all their support, love and special attention given to their “Bevvy”.
