Anna M. Bonacci age 92 of Danbury died on Monday evening surrounded by her loving family at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Felix A. Bonacci. Anna was born April 2, 1923 in Chatel Sur Moselle, France, the daughter of the late Jules and Eugene (Martin) Hoberdon. As a young woman, she came to the United States in 1947 at the request of her husband Felix, whom she had met while in France during WWII. They married in 1948, and following their marriage had lived in Torrington prior to returning to Danbury in 1952 to raise their family. Anna was employed with the Qualitron Corp., Danbury as a quality control technician, from which she retired following 15 years of service. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Church, Danbury. Following her husbandâ??s retirement in 1988, Anna and Felix spent the winter months in Florida, and also enjoyed travelling to both France and Italy. In addition to her husband of 66 years, Anna is survived by her children: Linda Swan and her companion Jim of Delta, PA, Diana Stavola and her husband Lee of Bethel, Marc Bonacci and his wife Jennifer of Sandy Hook, Jack Bonacci and his wife Sue of Newtown, Maryan Sholtes and her husband Bob of Bethel, 14 grandchildren: Angela, Christine, Michelle, Meliah, Jake, Eric, Luke, Leah, John, Gina, Markie, Sarah, Kevin, and Jacquelyn, 11 great grandchildren, one sister: Marcelle Sabol of Parkersburg, WV, one sister in law: Frances Colapietro of Terryville, and several nieces and nephews.
