Joan (Lee) Tenan, 72 of Bristol, beloved wife of Louis J. Tenan, passed away Tuesday, July 21st at the Bristol Hospital. Joan was born on January 12, 1943 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Richard E. Lee, Sr. and Eugenia (Goulet) Lee. Prior to retiring Joan was associated with both Finast and Waldbaums stores. Besides her husband, Joan is survived by her children, Mark R. Tenan of Bristol, Karen L. Parracino and her husband, Roger of Bristol, Sharon A. Gwara and her husband, Steven of Plainville and Cynthia L. MacDonald and her husband, Curt also of Plainville, eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jeremy and Katie Parracino, Christopher, Meghan and Cameron Gwara, and Christian and Matthew MacDonald and one great grandchild, Dashiell Judd, her brothers, Richard E. Lee, Jr. of Bristol, Thomas Lee of Pensacola, Florida, Timothy Lee of Bristol and Michael Lee of Berlin and her sisters, Ruth Ege of Avon, Barbara Currier of Unionville, Patricia Vibert of Bristol and Virginia Berry also of Bristol. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by her infant son, Matthew Brian Tenan.
