Gloria Paquette

Gloria L. Paquette, 81, beloved wife of William J. Paquette, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was born on the family farm in North Monroe, NH on October 8, 1934 to Raymond M. and Julia (Head) Lang. After graduating from Lancaster Academy, Lancaster, NH in 1952 she came to Hartford and pursued work in the business field. In 1957 she married the love of her life, Bill, living in Hartford, East Hartford and finally settling in Enfield in 1962. Gloria is survived by her husband of 58 years, William J. Paquette; three children, Wanda (Dan) Wawruck of St. Joe Beach, FL; Gary (Donna) Paquette of West Suffield; Sonja (Gary) McCarthy of East Granby; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Gregory, Matthew, Kyle, Meghan, Morgan and Lily; a great granddaughter, Arya; her sisters, Pauline Cheney, Evelyn LeBrun, Lillian Hampson and a brother Irving Lang. She is predeceased by a daughter Dian Lyn, a brother Calvin Lang and a sister Phyllis Lang. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in North Monroe, NH cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Masonicare Partners Home Health and Hospice. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Masonicare Hospice for the love, support and care they have provided.

  1. My heart breaks for all of you. We so enjoyed Gloria’s visits over at Franklin Dist. and we all appreciated and will miss you Famous Banana Breads and your smiling cheerful visits. I truly hope you are in a better and less painful place and I know you are looking down over everyone.
