John "Jack" Lotko

John “Jack” Lotko III, 48, of Cheshire, husband, father and son, lost his 2 year courageous and arduous battle to neuroendocrine cancer on August 18, 2018. He was the husband of Tracy (Devlin) Lotko, the love of his life, and his guiding star.
Jack graduated summa cum laude from WNEU with a mechanical engineering degree and received a full scholarship to UCONN for his M.S.
He was born on October 25, 1969, in New Britain and was the son of Noreen Lotko of Plainville and his parents John and Katherine Lotko of Kensington, his mother-in-law, Rita Devlin of Ware, MA, two brothers: Nikolas and Kristopher Lotko, a sister-in-law, Kelly Cartier and husband Rich of Leicester, MA, brother -in -law Ryan Devlin and wife Michelle of Ware, MA, nephews Mikey and Jamie Devlin and a niece Michaela Cartier.
Jack, a consummate humanitarian revered all living creatures and to that end served as president to the HRC (House Rabbit Connection) and district leader for HSUS. He was an avid runner who completed the Hartford Marathon and also led the Taggart Pipes and Drums as their drum major.
Jack was a dedicated baseball, soccer and basketball coach for the Cheshire Youth Leagues, loved the NY Football Giants and UCONN Women’s basketball. His quick wit, compassionate spirit, zest for life and warm smile will be missed by all.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Saturday, Aug 25, at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain.
