On Sunday, July 31st, 2022, Rosalind Elaine Schwartzberg, loving mother and sister, passed away at the age of 77. Rosalind was born November 10th, 1944 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Lillian and Haskell Schwartzberg. She received both her undergraduate and Masters in Fine Arts degrees from Washington University in Saint Louis. Rosalind was an accomplished artist creating art in multiple mediums. Her favorite mediums were woodblock printing, sketching with pencil, charcoal and pastels while drawing beautiful monkeys and other wild animals, as well as painting abstract modern art. She worked 20 years for Boehringer Ingelheim and during this time she also a earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research from George Washington University. She loved to sing Jewish Folk songs and always talked with fond memories about performing these songs with her sister Harriet. Rosalind was a kind and compassionate soul, a dedicated friend and a devoted mother and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Lapidus, her sister, Harriet Harris, and several cousins and nieces.
The funeral service will be held at the New Milford Center Cemetery Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 at 11:30 am.
