Born August 2, 1938 in Southington, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Katherine (Mazzera) D’Angelo. Alphonse was a language teacher for many years at Southington High School. After his retirement he continued teaching Italian to different organizations in Southington. He made many friends within the community and in Italy where he traveled extensively and considered it his second home. Alphonse was a very active parishioner with St. Thomas Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.     Mary "Dolly" Pagano

    Mary (Fasano) Pagano, 85, of the Plantsville section of Southington and formerly of Wolcott, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daniel Pagano. Born March 19, 1933 in Waterbury she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Canale) Fasano. Mary resided in Southington for the past 11 years, raising her family in Wolcott. Anyone who met Mary loved her. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her posse and playing cards and winning.
